Payout Policy

How and when racer earnings are paid out.
This policy explains how recorded racer earnings are paid. Specific schedules, minimums, and methods are confirmed in your Client Agreement.
1. Earnings Ledger
Racer earnings from paid orders accrue in your dashboard the moment a fan's payment succeeds, with a per-order breakdown of price, product cost, processing fees, shipping, and your share. An earning becomes eligible for payout once the order has been delivered and that delivery took place before the 1st of the current month — this serves as the return/refund clearance period. Until then it shows in your dashboard as accruing.
2. Payout Schedule
Eligible earnings are paid automatically on the 15th of each month, covering orders delivered in the prior calendar month, provided your payout account is connected and your balance meets the minimum payout threshold. RaceThreadz may also issue a payout earlier at its discretion.
3. Minimum Payout Threshold
A minimum balance of $25 is required before a payout is issued. Balances below the minimum automatically roll over to the next month.
4. Payout Methods
Payouts are sent by direct deposit through Stripe. You connect your bank account once from the Earnings & Payouts page of your dashboard, through Stripe's secure embedded setup — your identity and bank details are entered directly with Stripe and RaceThreadz never stores them. Stripe deposits each payout to your bank, typically within 2 business days of the payout date. If your payout account is not connected, eligible earnings continue to accrue until it is, and RaceThreadz may settle them by another mutually agreed method.
5. Adjustments
Refunds, chargebacks, and corrections may reduce a pending or future payout to reflect reversed earnings.
6. Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings. Tax identity information is collected by Stripe during payout setup, and annual tax forms (such as Form 1099) are issued through Stripe where required by law.
